- Board of Directors Candidates' Statements Available!
Discover more about the seven candidates running for the Coop's Board of Directors by reading their statements before you cast your vote.With two seats open, this is your chance to have a direct say in our leadership. Voting will take place online through a Coop-wide email sent out in late May, and the results will be announced at the Annual Meeting in June. We urge you to engage in this essential process—educate yourself about the candidates and make your voice heard by voting in this important aspect of our governance system. - Member Demographic Survey
The Park Slope Food Coop is conducting its first, anonymous, demographic survey to understand membership composition, identify underrepresented groups, and develop inclusive strategies. The survey, for members only, is available at bit.ly/coopsurvey2025. Participation is voluntary, but highly encouraged. It aims to help the Coop better serve its community by gathering insights, while protecting members' privacy. Please click here to take the 5- minute survey. We are seeking qualified candidates for a Receiving Coordinator Evenings / Weekends and Bookkeeping Coordinator. See job openings at the Coop for more details. - Personnel Committee Looking for New Members!
The Personnel Committee works collaboratively with the General Coordinators (GCs), the Coop’s upper-level management team, to provide guidance and support human resources and operational issues such as personnel policies, recruitment and hiring, strategic planning, human resource systems and processes, succession planning, and organizational development. Members can bring four (4) guests to the Coop on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays per calendar year. Guests must show photo ID to be issued a pass and are not allowed to shop. If a member doesn't use all four passes during the year, the unused passes do not carry over to the following year. - Current Safety and Operational Procedures
The Coop has implemented policies and practices to support our operations' efficiency, help keep the Coop community healthy, and facilitate access to shopping for all. Read more →
