- Bylaws Amendment Referendum Results
The referendum to amend the bylaws to allow for hybrid meetings failed to receive a 2/3 (66.67%) majority as required by the New York State Cooperative Corporations Law and the Coop's bylaws. 6,504 votes were cast: 66.43% in favor, 33.56% against. Because of the close vote, the Board of Directors voted to postpone receiving the advice of the members on the referendum. The Board requested a recount of the paper proxy ballots. The recount results will be reported at the July 29 General Meeting. - Board of Directors Election Results
Candidates Brandon West and Lynn Husum were elected to the Board of Directors at the Coop Annual Meeting on Tuesday, June 24. Each will serve three-year terms. Officers of the Corporation elected at last night's meeting are:- Brandon West - President
- Tess Brown-Lavoie - Vice-President
- Elizabeth Tobier - Secretary
- Joe Szladek - Treasurer
- Member Demographic Survey
The Park Slope Food Coop is conducting its first, anonymous, demographic survey to understand membership composition, identify underrepresented groups, and develop inclusive strategies. The survey, for members only, is available at bit.ly/coopsurvey2025. Participation is voluntary, but highly encouraged. It aims to help the Coop better serve its community by gathering insights, while protecting members' privacy. Please click here to take the 5- minute survey.
